Below, we provide you with the information for each triathlon day so you can prepare accordingly.
Drafting-Permitted Races
On one of the event days, drafting is allowed in the cycling segment. This means you can ride in a group to take advantage of other cyclists’ slipstreams. However, bicycles must comply with the following regulations:
- No time trial bikes or bikes with aero bars are allowed.
- Accessories like baskets, backpacks, or other additional elements are also not permitted.
Bikes allowed depending on the distance:
- Standard Distance: Only road and gravel bikes are permitted.

If you participate in these modalities and are a licensed triathlete, you can score points for the national ranking, making it a great opportunity to improve your standing.
Non-Drafting Races
On another day, the event is held with no drafting allowed in the cycling segment. This means you cannot ride in a group and must maintain a minimum distance from other cyclists. On this day, specific triathlon bikes are permitted:
- Bicycles allowed: Road and time trial bikes.
- Not allowed: Mountain bikes or gravel bikes.
This regulation ensures a fair competition, based solely on each triathlete’s effort and ability.
